A small village, a ruthless businessman, a talking chicken, a flock of rebellious turkeys fleeing their Christmas fate… and a hero truly unlike any other.

Walter, a passionate inventor and dedicated recycler, takes on powerful tycoon Bill Counter to protect the picturesque village of Harts Landing. As the holiday shopping frenzy reaches its peak, Counter opens a massive retail complex built on false promises of sustainability, urging residents to consume more than ever.

Enchanted by these promises, Tandoori, Walter’s talkative chicken companion, remains unaware that Counter plans to serve him for Christmas dinner—having run out of turkeys. Ever alert to environmental threats, Walter soon notices the deterioration of the village’s air and water, along with a troubling shift in the residents’ habits toward waste and overconsumption.

Though shy by nature, Walter rises to a series of unexpected challenges: rescuing a young girl, diverting a flood, rallying a flock of wandering turkeys, saving his friend from the dinner table… and, along the way, finding the courage to pursue the love of his life, Melanie.
